With just two games left on the schedule and the league title up for grabs, Field Kindley heads on the road to face Chanute.
The Blue Comets are 5-1 and coming off a 29-28 late-game comeback win over Fort Scott. The Nado are 4-2 coming off a dominant 49-14 win over Labette County. Head Coach Deonta Wade says these last two games mean a lot.
Coffeyville sits at number three in the 4A West standings with Abilene(5-1) and Buhler(5-1) above them. Abilene has Augusta(2-4) and Wamego(4-2) left on their schedule and Buhler has Rose Hill(3-3) and McPherson(3-3) left on theirs.
Wamego and Wellington are the other two 4-2 teams below the Nado. Finishing the season 4-4 could drop the Nado out of the top eight but winning out would give them a chance at the top spot.
