Top High School Prospect Cancels KU Visit

Following an offseason where nearly everything went right for the Kansas Jayhawks, the program received some unfortunate news this week.

Cooper Flagg, the top overall recruit in the Class of 2024, canceled his scheduled visit to Lawrence this weekend. Flagg is considered by multiple basketball scouts to be a generational type talent.

Flagg has been rumored to be favoring Duke for months now, and the senior star will visit the Blue Devils program later this month. The only other official visit was to UCONN last month.

The Jayhawks still have plenty of talent coming to Lawrence in 2024, headlined by five-star center Flory Bidunga, and four-star guard Labaron Philon. KU also has four-star forward Rakease Passmore visiting Lawrence this weekend for Late Night in the Phog.
