Basketball season in Coffeyville is just around the corner, with preseason events beginning later this month.

 

Men's basketball coach Jay Herkelman enters his 29th season leading the program. He says this year's team will feature a lot of new faces.

 

Following the departure of guards Landon Glasper, Soti Nafpliotis, and Nathan Johnson, Herkelman looked to the transfer portal for veteran help at the position. He says the Ravens landed a transfer from a conference rival.

 

Both the men's and women's basketball teams will be ramping up with preseason scrimmages and events all month long. Herkelman says his team has plenty of events planned.

 

The Ravens kick off the 2023-24 season on November 1st.
