Jayhawks Receiving Top 25 Votes

Following a week where multiple Big 12 schools move up in the national rankings, the Kansas Jayhawks are receiving votes as well.

KU received votes in both the AP Top 25 and the Coaches Top 25 following a 34-23 win on Friday night against Illinois. The Jayhawks currently sit at #28 in the AP Poll, and #32 in the Coaches Poll.

The Texas Longhorns climbed to #4 in the nation following a road win over Alabama, while Kansas State sits at #15 and Oklahoma at #16. Oklahoma State, UCF, and Cincinnati are all receiving votes as well.

Kansas has started 2-0 in consecutive seasons for the first time since 2008 and 2009. The Jayhawks haven't started 3-0 in consecutive years since 1991 and 1992.

KU battles Nevada on Saturday night, in their final non-conference game of the season.
