Following a pair of non-conference tournaments out of state, the Coffeyville Community College volleyball team returns to Nellis Hall for their home opener.

 

The Red Ravens scheduled nationally respected programs in their non-conference play, which reflects on their early 2-7 record. Head coach Deardin Kelley says, however, the team has learned a lot.

 

Coffeyville will open their home schedule against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, a school that debuts a new coach and quite a bit of local talent. The Ravens fared well at Nellis Hall last season, going 8-4 in front of the home fans.

 

Kelley says the group is eager to play in front of family and friends.

 

The home opener begins at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow and can be heard on the Red Raven Sports Network YouTube channel.
