The Cherryvale Chargers are gearing up for their 2023 season, which kicks off in less than two weeks.

 

Cherryvale is looking to build off of a 5-4 season in 2022, with a loss to the Humboldt Cubs in the opening round of the playoffs.

 

The Chargers will be looking to replace star running back Trevin Elam. Head Coach Daniel Vaughn says Cherryvale has options at the position.

 

The first half of the Chargers' 2023 schedule is more favorable than the second half, and Vaughn says the team has to be ready to go in Week 1.

 

When asked about the 2023 identity of Cherryvale, Vaughn says the team will balance toughness and enjoyment.

 

Cherryvale opens their 2023 season on September 1st against the Eureka Tornadoes.
