Chiefs Rout Cardinals in Preseason Week 2

The Kansas City Chiefs bounce back nicely following a lackluster performance against the Saints, routing the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 of the preseason.

Kansas City was in control the whole game, outplaying Arizona's starters and backups, on their way to a 38-10 victory.

For the second consecutive week, the young wide receivers were impressive for the Chiefs. Second round pick Rashee Rice had eight catches for 96 yards and former fifth round pick Ihmir Smith-Marsette had four catches for 92 yards and a touchdown.

Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire had a tough game, averaging just 2.5 yards per carry starting in place of Isaiah Pacheco. Tough decisions will need to be made in a crowded room that includes Pacheco, Edwards-Helaire, Jerrick McKinnon, and rookie Deneric Prince.

Kansas City will wrap up the preseason on Saturday against the Cleveland Browns.
