The Big 12 Conference is close to having the 14th and final school added to the new look conference.

 

The Arizona Wildcats are expected to finalize a deal to move to the Big 12 in the near future. Conference presidents and executives met this week to vote on approving the move.

 

ESPN Senior College Football Writer Pete Thamel says this move is a major change for the college landscape.

 

The school is in the final steps of officially applying for membership. Arizona would be the second Pac 12 school this summer to depart for the Big 12, joining the University of Colorado.
