Doc Sadler Rejoins Jayhawks Staff

A former Jayhawks assistant, and longtime college head coach, is returning to Lawrence.

Doc Sadler spent last season as a special advisor at Oklahoma, before being hired this week as an analyst at KU. Sadler also served as the director of basketball operations for the Jayhawks in 2013.

Sadler has a plethora of experience as a head coach as well, leading the Texas El Paso Miners to the NCAA Tournament in 2005. He then coached six seasons with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, before being let go in 2012.

KU's newest analyst has spent more than 40 years in college basketball, with stops at Arkansas, Houston, Texas Tech, and Arizona State. His coaching career began as a student manager under Hall of Fame coach Eddie Sutton.
