With August officially underway, football season begins in Coffeyville later this month for the Red Ravens.

 

Head Coach Jeff Leiker spoke to the media last week in Wichita regarding his program and the current status of the incoming players and coaches.

 

Leiker says that the CCC staff will be the team's biggest strength in 2023.

 

The Red Ravens qualified for the national semifinals in 2022, before seeing their season end at the hands of the Hutchinson Blue Dragons.

 

Leiker says that although not many players return, teams will be looking to dethrone the Ravens from the top of the conference ranks.

 

Coffeyville begins their 2023 campaign on August 26th when they travel to face the Highland Community College Scotties. All CCC football can be heard on US 98.1 all season long.
