Coffeyville Community College is less than two weeks away from taking the field for the first time in 2023, and new head coach Steven Harrison is making sure his group is prepared.

 

Harrison was a later hire in the coaching cycle, being hired well into the offseason. He says that the shorter time frame forced him to change his coaching approach.

 

The Ravens finished 2022 with a 9-8-1 record, but struggled down the stretch with many key losses late in the season. CCC has a key home stand in late September with six of seven matches at home.

 

Harrison says if the team can focus on taking care of business, that stretch could be a massive advantage.

 

New coaches tend to instill different philosophies and strategies within the program. Harrison says his group will be disciplined and hard working.

 

The Red Ravens will open the season at home against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College on August 17th.
