Two of the nation's most prestigious college basketball programs will square off in back to back seasons beginning next year.

 

The Kansas Jayhawks and North Carolina Tar Heels have announced a two game deal with each other, playing one game at each team's home site. The first game will be on November 8, 2024 at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, and the second game will be November 14, 2025 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

 

Jayhawks coach Bill Self says "These will be two great games from programs whose rich histories are intertwined so much. It will be a special day in both Chapel Hill and Lawrence when we play, and I am looking forward to it."

 

Kansas and North Carolina are two giants of college basketball with the Jayhawks leading all programs in wins, and North Carolina placing third. The Tar Heels have made the most Final Fours in history as well, with Kansas making the fifth most.
