Chiefs Open Training Camp

The Kansas City Chiefs officially kicked off the 2023-24 season today, reporting to training camp for the first time.

Super Bowl MVP Quarterback Patrick Mahomes spoke to the media following practice. He says first and foremost, his ankle is finally healed after playing nearly the entire postseason hurt.

Although the Chiefs have won two of the past four Super Bowls, the team isn't concerned about a potential Super Bowl hangover. Mahomes says his goal for the team is to learn and get better with each week.

Kansas City has not grown complacent either, according to Mahomes. He says that once you reach the top of the mountain, you'll do anything to get back there.

The first preseason game for the defending champions will be August 13th against the New Orleans Saints.
