Kansas State football is only weeks away, and the Wildcats were the hot topic at Big 12 Media Day this week.

 

Head Coach Chris Klieman, now entering his fifth season as coach, says that the program values player development, which has shown in the results.

 

The Wildcats played in five one-score games last season. Klieman says the parity across the conference makes it one of the nation's best.

 

The Big 12 will be welcoming four new programs to the conference this fall, with Brigham Young, Central Florida, Houston, and Cincinnati entering the Power 5. Klieman says the conference has done an outstanding job targeting programs with talent and success.

 

Kansas State will open the 2023 football season at home against Southeast Missouri State on September 2nd.
