Four Wildcats, Four Jayhawks Named to Preseason All-Big 12

 

A quartet of Kansas Jayhawks and Kansas State Wildcats have been announced to the preseason all-conference team.

 

Quarterback Jalon Daniels is the top rated signal caller in the Big 12, also being named Preseason Offensive Player of the Year in the conference.

 

Additional Jayhawks on the All-Big 12 team are running back Devin Neal, offensive lineman Mike Novitsky, and defensive back Cobee Bryant.

 

Leading the way for the Wildcats is All-American offensive lineman Cooper Beebe. Also on the all-conference team for KSU are fullback Ben Sinnott, kick returner and punt returner Phillip Brooks, and defensive back Kobe Savage. Kansas State running back Treshaun Ward was also named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year.

 

USA Today predicts Kansas to finish 7th in the 2023 season, while Kansas State is slated to come in 2nd.
