The Kansas Jayhawks continue to build on their best season in two decades by adding a pair of Power 5 transfers from the portal.
Defensive end Dylan Brooks from Auburn announced his intent to play in Lawrence on Monday. Brooks was a four-star recruit in high school, and had seven tackles, one sack, and one fumble recovery in a backup role for the Tigers last season.
Lance Leipold and the Jayhawks also landed a quarterback commit on Monday, in former Nebraska Cornhusker Mike Pauley. Pauley was a three-star recruit in high school, and is originally from Overland Park.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, Pauley did not play with Nebraska last year after redshirting. He led Blue Valley Northwest to their first ever state football title in 2021.
