The Field Kindley golf team takes second place at the Regional Tournament and is head to state. The weather was all over the place during the tournament in Independence, it started out cloudy and then the sun came out to make it hot and humid. The course was wet and soggy. Through the first 9 holes, Coffeyville was tied for 3rd, one shot off the 2nd place team.
Coach Mike Peck was walking with each golfer through the last nine holes and they started to get into a grove and finished strong. Coach Peck says he couldn't be more proud of his guys and he wouldn't trade them for anything. Zac Becker finished inside the Top 10 for Coffeyville shooting a 91 good for 8th place. Nado golf heads to Dodge City on Monday to compete for state.
