Grizzlies Spoil Homecoming for Nado

Homecoming night in Coffeyville as Maddison Adamson and Jayden Crawford were crowned Queen and King.  Unfortunately for the Nado they would drop both games to the Labette County Grizzlies with the girl falling 69-35 and the boys in a close one 58-54.  The Lady Grizzlies saw an outstanding performance from Sophmore Madison Brannin with a 26 point night and Senior Sydnie Stice who added 14.  Lady Nado Juniors Adyson Peck and Kylie Speer did their best to match the LCHS duo as they had 16 and 13 but it just wasn't enough.  The Nado boys saw the best games of the season from Junior Tariq Logan and Sophmore Ethan Viets as they scored 21 and 16 but the Grizzlies were able to match that with 21 points from Sophmore Eli Hestand and 19 points from Senior Ethan Jameson.

Last game of the season with Senior Night on Tuesday the Nado welcome Pittsburg to town.  The Nado girls currently set at the 14th spot in the Class 4A rankings they would need a win and an Atchison loss to move up a spot.  The Nado boys currently set at 18th and would need a win and losses from both Baldwin and Topeka-Hayden to move up.
