The Caney Valley Bullpups put together an impressive effort on Friday night winning at Erie 81-62 to extend their winning streak to eight straight games. 

 

Caney Valley (14-5) led by four at the end of the first quarter and eight at halftime before pulling away with a 24-14 advantage in the third quarter. 

 

The loss for Erie (15-4) snaps a five game winning streak as the Red Devils committed 17 turnovers in the game. 

 

The Bullpups posted five players in double figures led by Jace Kaminska and Camdyn Melchiori each with 19 points while DaRon Davis added 17. 

 

Erie had four players in double figures led by Mark Bogner with 18 points while Tyler Pasquarelli and Dawson Lehman each added 14 each. 

 

The final regular season game of the week broadcast will be on Tuesday night as Caney Valley travels to Fredonia. Erie will wrap up their regular season on Tuesday night at Neodesha.
