Chiefs Win Super Bowl, Mahomes Named MVP

Fifty years of waiting with most Chiefs fans either not born yet or too young to remember their last Super Bowl, and a lot has changed in the NFL since Super Bowl 4. The Chiefs needed all four quarters yesterday to come away with the victory against the San Francisco 49ers. After starting the game leading 10-3 the Chiefs would find themselves trailing 20-10 in the fourth quarter. Kansas City who trailed by double digits in every game of the post season would go on to score 21 unanswered points to capture the 31-20 victory.

Patrick Mahomes was named MVP as he threw for 286 yards, 2 touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown as well. Damien Williams rushed for 104 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown and added a receiving touchdown on 4 catches for 29 yards. Tyreek Hill had 9 catches for 105 yards and Sammy Watkins had 5 catches for 98 yards.
