#3 Kansas had no problem with Iowa State at Hilton Coliseum on Wednesday night, winning 79-53. 

 

KU (12-2, 2-0) closed the first half on a 21-3 run to take a 20 point lead into the halftime break. Devon Dotson led the Jayhawks with 20 points, six assists and five rebounds. Ochai Agbaji added 16 points on 4 of 5 shooting from three point range. As a team, KU hit 10 of 19 from beyond the arc. 

 

The Jayhawks held Iowa State (7-7, 0-2) to just 34% shooting in the game. 

 

The Jayhawks lost by 17 at Iowa State last season including losing three of their last five meetings in Ames.
