K-State Falls to TCU, Drops to 0-2 in Big 12 Play

 

The frustrating season for K-State men's basketball continued on Tuesday night as the Wildcats lost to TCU 59-57 in Manhattan. 

 

TCU's Kevin Samuel tipped in a missed shot with two seconds left to lift the Horned Frogs over Kansas State. 

 

Prior to that play, Kansas State tied the game with a three point shot by David Sloan with 13 seconds left. 

 

K-State (7-7, 0-2) was led in scoring by Xavier Sneed with 19 points on 5 of 14 shooting from the field. TCU (11-3, 2-0) posted four players in double figures including Samuel who had 10 points to go along with 15 rebounds. 

 

The Wildcats will play at Texas on Saturday night with the tip-off scheduled for 7:00 PM.
