The Caney Valley Bullpups made quick work of the Baxter Springs Lions on Friday night by a score of 43-0.

 

Caney Valley Running Back Eryk Kyser rushed for over 150 yards and 2 touchdowns with a highlight 98 yard touchdown run in the first quarter where he streaked down the sideline running away from the Lions defenders.

 

Bullpup Running Back Ben Nunneley rushed for over 100 yards and capped off his night with a 64-yard touchdown run.

 

The second half of the game was played with a running clock and resulted in the shortest game of the year for the Bullpups that started at 7:00pm and ended at 8:40pm.

 

The win clinched a playoff spot for the Bullpups where they will face the Prairie View Buffaloes on Friday in Lacygne.
