The Caney Valley Bullpups literally ran wild on Friday night as they defeated the Parsons Vikings 48-34. The Bullpups rolled up 455 yards of total offense with all of it coming via the ground attack.
Bullpups running back Eryk Kyser rushed for 328 yards and 6 touchdowns to pace the Bullpups attack while Ben Nunneley racked up 114 yards.
Parsons quarterback Ethan Houk rushed for 123 yards and went 12-26 for 228 yards in the air and threw for 4 touchdowns in the losing effort.
With the win Caney Valley moved up to 4th place in district 3A-1 due to district points. Caney Valley can advance to the playoffs with a win over Baxter Springs by at least 9 points or a Parsons loss to Galena.
