Coffeyville Community College will host a Military Appreciation Night on Saturday prior to the football team's game against Independence. Gates will open at 5 p.m, with the first 100 people into the gate receiving free admission and a shirt. As part of the activities, the National Guard will have some of their different equipment there for those in attendance to check out. Military members will also get into the game free with valid proof of identification.

In addition, Designs Unlimited will be holding a cook-off competition, and the Coffeyville Interact Club will be hosting a cornhole tournament with the proceeds going toward Rotary's Polio Project. To enter the tailgate contest, contact Designs Unlimited at 620-644-9200.
