After a wild weekend of football in the Jayhawk Conference it sees five teams ranked in the top 20 with Fort Scott barely on the outside looking in. Hutchinson, who is coming off a 29-27 upset loss against Highland, dropped from number one to four. Butler after losing to Hutchinson two weeks ago fell from number two to number four and then was upset by Independence last week falling to number nine. Garden City moved up two spots and are right behind Butler at number ten. Highland who had the biggest jump of the week up six from twenty to fourteen. Finally, Independence jumped into the top 20 at seventeen after their big 49-20 win over Butler. Fort Scott is just one spot out from being ranked inside the top 20.

Iowa Western also received votes but are still a ways out from being in the top 20.
