The West Elk Patriots are 3-1 this season, and a big part of that success can be attributed to the team's offensive capabilities. In their three victories this season, West Elk has scored 172 points, including 70 against Central Burden a week ago. Head coach Chris Haag says generating a lot of points just isn't possible without the right pieces to do so.

The Patriots' next challenge lies on the road against Oswego, another 3-1 team that has also had solid success on both sides of the ball. West Elk does have a bit more momentum, with the Indians coming off a 56-22 loss to Sedan in Week 4.
