Week 3 of the Kansas high school football season is here, and as always, we'll have plenty of action across three of our four stations.

 

Field Kinley will look to pick up its first win of the season as the team stays at home to welcome Labette County. The Grizzlies are 1-1 and coming off of a close 36-31 victory over Independence last week. Matt Jordan will have the call on Star 98.9, KQQF.

 

Caney Valley will look to continue stifling opponents when the team hosts the Neodesha Bluesteaks. The Bullpups are 2-0 on the year and have allowed only 6 points to opposing offenses, and picked up a shutout last week over Eureka. The Bluestreaks are 0-2 and have picked up losses against Humboldt and Erie. Kyle Hey will have the call for Caney on 104.1 Greatest Hits, KGGF.

 

And finally, our Game of the Week will take us to Erie as two 1-1 teams collide. The Erie Red Devils, fresh off a 34-19 victory over Neodesha, will play at home this week against another 1-1 team in Cherryvale. The Chargers defeated Leon-Bluestem last week 42-6.
