The 2018 Field Kindley football season was a bit of a roller coaster. There were a lot of close games lost at the start of the season before the team hit a stride making it into the second round of the playoffs.

The 2019 Golden Tornado have a lot of new faces on both sides of the ball and after a disappointing showing in the Jamboree Scrimmage Head Coach Darrin Wegner says the players really stepped up this week of practice.

The Nado's first game of the season is the same opponent they opened up against last year. This time they take on Fort Scott at home and they are hoping for a different outcome after losing 23-14 last year. The game can be heard on Star 98.9 KQQF with kickoff at 7:00.
