That home run breaks the Royals single season record for home runs set back in 2017 by former third baseman Mike Moustakas. The big night for Soler proved to be helpful for the Royals as they beat the Detroit Tigers 6-5.
With 23 games left in the 2019 season there's a good chance Soler could extended that record well over 40 home runs.
