All Road Games for Eureka High Football

June 26th a EF3 tornado rips through the town of Eureka for almost two miles. In the path of destruction was the Eureka High School football locker room, equipment room, coaches offices, and equipment. With the loss of the football practice field and game day playing field, Eureka will play the entire 2018 season on the road. New Head Coach Jason Nichols brings 17 years of football coaching experience. The team will rely on a group of returning players to lead them including senior QB Cade Burden, senior OL/DL Jonathan Turner, junior WR/LB Zach Hare, junior OL/DL Brandon Darbyshire, and sophomore OL/DL Ben Sunderland.

Despite so many changes and disruptions to the normal start of the football season, Coach Nichols says he's got nothing but positivity so far from not only his players, but fans and the community of Eureka, KS.
