The Bulldogs from Independence High School baseball team are on their way to the state playoffs! After they beat the Chanute Blue Comets 5-2 to capture the Class 4A-Division I Altamont Regional championship on Monday. Independence High School has now earned their second straight regional championship and will compete in the state tournament next week at Soden's Grove in Emporia.
