The Sedan City Council meets and approves the purchase of some necessary items for the city.

 At this week's meeting City Superintendent John Miller told council members that his crews needed new safety equipment. Miller says it's time for the city to replace some worn-out basic items.

The council voted unanimously to approve the purchase for Miller's department. Police Chief Kirk Richardson also asked for approval to purchase some much-needed supplies.

The City council gave the go-ahead to spend sixteen hundred and sixty dollars for ammunition.
