LCC Nursing Program Receives National Recognition

 

 A Southeast Kansas community college receives national recognition for its nursing program.

 The nursing program at Labette Community College ranks in the top 5 of such programs in the state of Kansas.

The website Registered Nursing dot com ranked L-C-C number 4 in the state based on criteria in the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. L-C-C earned a score of 92.46 which was only two points less than the school earning the top spot. The top-ranked school was Benedictine College in Atchison which scored a 94.63 mark.

Labette Community College established its nursing program in 1968. Since that date, over 1500 nurses have graduated and taken the NCLEX-RN exam to become registered nurses.
