The Wilson County Sheriff's Department is requesting new road signs for accidents.

 

The signs would help county law enforcement secure the area following an accident. Sheriff Jack Lucke says the signs can attach to the car.

 

Commissioners agreed to discuss the request further at next week's meeting.

 

Additional items of business at this week's Wilson County Commission meeting was road work being needed on Bethel Road, with multiple pot holes by the bridges. Also, Commissioner Jerry Scott made a request to add a Children Playing sign at Jackson Street and Howell Street in Fredonia, with drivers neglecting the 30 mph speed limit sign.

 

The commission will meet next on April 17th at 9 a.m. in Room 101 of the Wilson County Courthouse in Fredonia.
