Safe Eclipse Viewing

 

 The solar eclipse will take place today and for most of the listening area, that means it will begin around 12:30pm.

For those planning to view the eclipse today, it's important to do so safely. Dr. Shravan Gangula, a primary care physician at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center, says you should always you proper eye wear when viewing a solar eclipse.

Ron Mallory of Kansas Astronomical Observers says, if you don't have eclipse glasses, there are other ways to view the eclipse safely.
