There's a chance of some strong to severe storms Saturday evening for the four states.

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Chautauqua and Elk Counties and areas to the north and west until 9 tonight.

Windy conditions are expected to prevail through the evening hours, with gusts up to 65 mph possible associated with a potential line of strong to severe storms expected to move through tonight.  Timing for the Coffeyville area is expected between 6 and 9 p.m. if storms develop.  Quarter to nickel-size hail is also possible.  A wind advisory remains in effect until 8 tonight for southeast Kansas and 9 p.m. for northeast Oklahoma.
