An inmate at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility has died.
Staff at the HCF found 51 year old Watson Kevin Bradford unresponsive in his cell yesterday afternoon. Life-saving measures were attempted but medical staff was unable to revive Bradford. He was then pronounced deceased. The cause of death remains unknown until an autopsy can be completed.
Bradford was serving a life sentence for 1st degree murder committed in Leavenworth County.
His death is under investigation by the Kansas Department of Corrections and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
