A motorcyclist was injured yesterday in a single vehicle accident in Montgomery County.

 The accident occurred around 10:30am on the westbound ramp of US-400 at the intersection of US-169 or about 5 miles north of Cherryvale. 45 year old Michael Eason of Peabody was riding his 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle and attempting to merge onto US-400 when he left the roadway to the south in order to avoid a collision with another vehicle. Eason was taken to Labette Health in Parsons and treated for minor injuries.
