Drivers in Wichita had a bit of a surprise yesterday at the intersection of Central and Greenwich Road.

 A turkey had staked its claim to the middle of the intersection and was challenging all of the cars that dared to pass through. Residents report that this isn't the first time the turkey has been at this intersection and that the bird is part of a nearby flock that lives near a pond on Central Avenue.
