A search warrant leads to three arrests in Cherokee County.
The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office and Baxter Springs Police Department executed the search warrant just after 11:00am yesterday. The warrant stems from an investigation into hunting equipment that was stolen outside of Baxter Springs in late February. While searching the residence, officers recovered the stolen property and located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested at the scene were 62-year-old Timothy Putnam, 57-year-old Andrew Putnam and 46-year-old Dallas Kinnaird. The Putnams were both arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Kinnard was arrested for theft.
