A weekend car accident claims the life of a Parsons woman.
26 year old Ashley Rendon was traveling westbound on K-126 about 4 miles west of Pittsburg around 3am yesterday morning. Rendon was driving a 2001 PT Cruiser when – for unknown reason – her vehicle left the roadway and struck a culvert. The car overturned and caught fire. Rendon did not survive the accident.
