It feels like springtime and that means prom is just around the corner.
Women for Independence is holding their 10th Annual Used Formal Consignment Sale tomorrow at the Riverside Park 4-H building in Independence. Those wishing to sell dresses can do so from 8:30 to 10:30am. Those shopping for prom dresses, formals, and accessories can do so from 11 to 2. Item pick-up and pay-out happens between 3 and 4. The Registration fee is $5 for 3 dresses. Each dress after that is an extra $1. There is no limit on the number of dresses you can sell. Cash and credit cards are accepted and W-F-I will retain a 10% handling fee for each item sold.
W-F-I is an organization that raises funds to distribute to those in need in the community.
