St. Andrew Catholic School in Independence is holding a unique fundraiser.
The school is collecting gently used shoes of all types to raise funds for the school. St Andrew PTO President Breezy LaForge says the money rasied will go to help teachers buy classroom supplies as well as funding field trips and other fun activities for students throughout the year. LaForge says the fundraiser also helps in other ways.
Those wanting to donate shoes can drop them off at St. Andrew School or St. Andrew Catholic Church at 215 North Park Boulevard in Independence. The fundraiser runs through March 15th . For more information, contact the school at 620-331-2870
