Two Captured After Police Chase Through Greenwood County

 Two suspects are in custody after a police chase through two Kansas counties.

 Deputies from the Butler County Sheriff's Office along with deputies from Greenwood County assisted officer from the Augusta Public Safety Office after the driver of a Ford Escape refused to pull over on Wednesday morning. Officers chased the vehicle as it headed east on US 400 into Greenwood County. Deputies there deployed stop sticks but the driver continued to evade officers. During the chase, speeds at times reached 120 mph. The Kansas highway Patrol eventually stopped the vehicle about 8 miles west of Fredonia.

Two people were taken into custody on multiple charges.
