The Field Kindley High School baseball team is starting a new program focusing on community outreach to Community Elementary students. Head Coach Will Owens says this season will be the first year for the Golden Tornado Big Brother Program.
Owens says participants will be given a couple of items to remember the season by and hopefully make some other memories as well. They hope to have 25 CES students participate in the first year.
Baseball practice starts on Monday with the first game of the season on Monday, March 18th at Baxter Springs and the first home game on Thursday, March 21st against Labette County.
