Police in Pittsburg say they have arrested a man in suspicion of aggravated indencent liberties with a child.
On Thursday afternoon at around 3:30, officers repsonded to a daycare center located on East 13th street in Pittsburg. This was in response to a report from a staff member that a man had been seen standing across the street, engaging in sexual acts.
Officers located the suspect who has been identified as 18 year old Walter Lalimo of Pittburg. When apporach by officers, Lalimo attempted to flee on foot. After a brief pursuit, Lalimo was caught and taken into custody without incident.
Lalimo was taken to the Crawford County Jail and booked on charges of Aggravated Indecent Liberties with a Child and Felony Interference with Law Enforcement. He is currently being held without bond.
