The Independence City Commission Holds a brief meeting to handle several items of city business.
Commissioner Scott Smith was not present at last week's meeting, leaving only Commissioners Tim Emert and Dean Hayse as voting members. On the agenda was the reappointment of three members to the Economic Development Board. Mayor Tim Emert makes the motion.
The two commissioners also approved the termination of the Stage 1 Water Watch and held an executive session regarding acquisitioon of real estate. The next Independence City Commission meeting will be held on February 22nd
