Independence City Manager Kelly Passauer says things are going well in Indy.

 Passauer spoke at First Friday at the Civic Center last week. She says the city has been busy adressing citizen concerns from the last community survey in the Community Based Strategic Plan.

She also told the assembled crowd that broadband internet would soon be coming to the area.

Passauer also thanked members of the Independence Police Department for their hardwork. She also thanked city employees for all they do for the city. To see the city's community plan dashboard, go here.
