Authorities in Miami County Kansas are investigating suspects for animal cruelty after ten Great Danes were found dead on January 24th on a property in rural Louisburg.
Nine other Great Danes and one Shepard mix were found alive on the porperty and taken to a nearby pet rescue where they are recovering from neglect and malnourishment.
The deceased dogs have been sent to Kansas State University for a complete autopsy.
Four persons of interest have been identified by the Miami County Seriff's Department in connection to the incident. Their names are not being released yet because they have not been formally charged.
